A year ago I had surgery to repair a torn shoulder labrum. Other friends had been through it and told me horror stories about the post-op physical therapy: extreme pain, sadistic therapists, dreading the therapy routine, and more. I was pleasantly surprised with my own experience at Proformance. I suffered practically no pain during the entire process. The therapists knew just how far to challenge me to improve without causing undue discomfort. They were consistently positive and encouraging, and I soon found my PT sessions to be the highlight of my week. I always felt happy about the progress I was making and looked forward to going back as often as needed. After a year, my shoulder feels almost exactly like the other (non-operative) shoulder.
